Every day in our drop-off yard, we salvage items from landfill and recycling streams that are still perfectly good to use.  Some need a small repair, others just need a clean.

By purchasing items that would otherwise go to landfill, you're saving a huge amount of resources - the energy required to extract raw materials from the earth, the fuel required to process these materials into brand new items, the carbon used in shipping them all over the world, and of course the space in recycling and landfill facilities at the end of that item's life.

The best and most environmentally friendly product is the one that already exists - giving new life to pre-loved goods is a fantastic way to reduce your impact on our planet (not to mention how many amazing vintage goodies are out there!).

Enter through the main gates, say kia ora to the pay station staff, and continue up the site.  Drive slowly and safely!
